Oh hello. It’s been a while!
The jewels. The events. The business. The love of Skating. The Shine. The love of Winter… So many things have happened over the last couple of months, I don’t even know where to start!
The jewels...
The retail industry being such a competitive environment, never in a million years I could have predicted what happened to our jewelry collection. We first started with 5 pieces, then 20, then 100… Next thing you know, 10 months later to be exact, we were running an inventory of X000 pieces a month and as crazy as this can be, it feels like we are only starting to explore our market.
The events…
Since there’s only 24 hours in a day, the unplanned success of the jewels forced me to rethink the idea of producing events and shows. Conclusion : Not only producing events allow us to promote ice skating which is what we love the most, but it’s also a great marketing tool for the jewels. Two birds, one stone. Bring the opportunities!
The business…
All the details mentioned above sound incredible, but let’s not get too excited just yet. Managing all these jewels, creation, inventory, sales, distribution, administration, international affairs, contracts, and everything else is not so relaxing. Happy stress, still stressful!
The love of Skating…
The foundation. At this point in time, we’ve created over 100 designs involving a skating something and you may think we’ve done it all. Don’t be fooled. There’s a lot more to come and very many fun projects lined up. Stay tuned!

Can we talk about the Flamingo Hair Pin for a second? The goal of Believe in Yourself is to offer a touch of shine by a skater, for skaters, but also for anyone else looking for a little extra bling. Does that speak to you?
The love of Winter…
Gift shops & ski resorts showed an interest for our brand and we thought it would be a great idea to create a small collection for this kind of market. Next week, I will walk you through the creative process that led to Winter WonderLove, a collection dedicated to the love of Winter.
